Flajflaj 2018 18.03

As always we create this event at skydive Elsinore, CA, during the last two weeks of March (18/3-30/3 2018). We are getting very excited about this one!!

For those who are new to Flajlflaj, it is a freefly skills camp focused on individual teaching, either in small groups or one on one. We jump Monday through Friday both weeks and leave the DZ on the weekend to rest and see a bit of California.

We welcome anyone who has their A-license or higher.

The price for Flajflaj 2018 is 2260 usd AND 6950 sek and the package includes

– 50 jump tickets (additional tickets are 23 usd)
– 20 coaching tickets (obviously shareable when doing group jumps, so let´s say you do 4-ways with the coach, that´s 60 coach jumps for the three participants)
– Part in a rental car
– T-shirt, Flajflaj poker championship entry, chances to win fantastic gifts from our sponsors, professional video editing, team room access, two weekly parties and a fantastic freefly experience to kick 2018 off in style.

If you can only make one week the price is 1230 usd and 3475 sek

– This gets you 25 jump tickets and 10 coaching tickets and the rest is the same as the normal package.

Skydive Perris

40ish Ways 31.03

Throughout our years of creating a welcome and friendly atmosphere at Perris we have noticed a gap between Fun jumps and the World Class big-way events.

“40ish ways” fill this gap with a low-pressure big-way setting.

We provide one-on-one feedback to build on existing skills and learn new ones with positive-mode evaluation and problem solving.

Please understand that if you respond that you want to participate but we ask you not to, we do so for your safety and the safety of others in the group. We would be happy to work with you at another time.

We plan on making 5 jumps. Jump tickets or money on account plus $10 dollars for video

The course takes you through a series of in air exercises to explore the performance range of the canopy so that you can deal with emergency situations and difficult atmospheric conditions.

You will be given more safety and survival tools, including controlled turns using different inputs, turn dynamics, dive recovery and the how to deal with a long spot.

Fly4life Flight Camp – March 2018 13.03 – 17.03

FLY4LIFE March Flight Camp is coming up! March 13-17th, 2018 at Skydive Deland.

After an analysis of our last two camps and many of the events we traveled to during 2016, we’ve concluded that we need smaller groups.

When these camps began, groups of 8 were chosen because we weren’t doing much more than tracking and pretty much all head first.

Even though we feel that our camps are still mainly based on angles, the natural progression of this type of flying has taken us to mix it up with head up, static vertical/flat formations, etc.

Even just flying angles, we have realized that taking out 2 people out of a group of 8 already allows coaches to push participants closer to their limits, providing a more progressive, and safer learning environment.

Safety Day 10.03

In early spring, the skydiving season for much of the country is just crawling out of hibernation. Most skydivers don’t jump through the cold months as often as they do in the summer, and their skills are a bit rusty.

That’s when Safety Day comes. Established in 1997 from an idea by Patti Chernis, Safety Day provides a worldwide forum at local drop zones to prepare jumpers for the year ahead.

Safety Day promotes safety programs and helps inform jumpers of new developments and review important information and procedures. Activities typically include hands-on review and practice of safety procedures, seminars from skydiving operation professionals and experts, equipment evaluations and more.

Most days end with a social get together. USPA encourages all jumpers of all experience levels to attend.

AFF – Learn To Skydive 3.03

If you are looking for a challenge and thinking of taking up the sport of skydiving, then the Accelerated FreeFall (AFF) Course is designed for you.

After a full day of theoretical and practical training, you will be ready to make your first skydive. Together with two highly experienced instructors (combined jumps totalling more than 1000 skydives!) you will climb out and exit the aircraft.

Your instructors will be there with you in free fall ensuring you open your own parachute and it is deployed safely. You will steer your own parachute, communicating with an instructor on the ground until you are guided in safely to landing.

Your Stage 1 jump is the first step towards becoming an experienced skydiver – the AFF course consists of nine stages in total.

AFF students progress at their own rate, and your NSPC instructors will encourage you and develop your flying skills every step of the way.
