After a successful day with a helicopter jumping on Ege, the demo of the motorsport course, topped with the Oktoberfest in the city tent we all agreed that this was the beginning of a new tradition!

On October 27 and 28, 2018 will attempt to make Spanish record of sequential jump.

To participate in the event, it is necessary to attend a classification event or have an invitation from the organizers.

The idea is to perform all possible jumps both days.

Module 200 provides a safe environment for skydivers wanting to progress their canopy skills to the next level in the area of high performance landings.

Jumping begins on Day 2 with an introductory AFF-Tandem jump which is the perfect way to orientate yourself from the air and to better understand the landing pattern and procedures here at Skydive Algarve.
Then your skydiving experience continues with AFF Level 1.
Accompanied by, but not attached to, two expert instructors you will carry out a series of freefall exercises you have been taught, then open, fly and land the parachute yourself.
Progressing through the levels you will perform a qualifying dive on Level 7 and a low altitude exit from 5,000ft on Level 8.

There is plenty of local accommodation, many with Skydiver rates and reasonable car hire rates to get you to and from Faro Airport (only 40 minutes away from the DZ).

Included within this course you will do 8x 1-on-1 coached jumps 1x 3way coached jump and 1x 4way coached jump. Being silent isn’t being strong.
The concept of ManHealth came out of a relationship between two men Michael and Paul. Both were suffering with depression. Both men had been unable to discuss their condition with family or medical professionals and had closed themselves off from the world.

Through regular daily meetings, telephone communications and then regular exercise Michael and Paul realised that the sharing of feelings and emotions and discussion of the issues around mental health made them feel better within themselves.

We know that peer support offered by someone who has experience of depression can help men.

It is not an easy thing to acknowledge that depression is tearing your life apart, and it takes strength to admit it and seek help. Depression is not a weakness; it affects 1 in 4 men and leads to many men taking their own lives.

In order to jump you must:

• Have a B, C, or D license
• Make a jump THAT DAY with the SAME RIG you will be using for night jumps
• Attend a safety meeting and drill right before the night jumps… This means do not go anywhere after day jumps and then come back expecting to jump
• Have lights or rent them from Manifest

To be eligible to participate in night jumps at Skydive Arizona you must meet the following requirements:

• Current on the canopy you are jumping and comfortable landing it in dead calm conditions.
• Fifty freefalls minimum; USPA B license qualified, but you don’t need the actual license.
• Make at least one jump here during the day to familiarize yourself with the area and give thought to your options in the event of landing out.
• Attend the mandatory briefing about thirty minutes prior to sunset.
• During the day, manifest will collect a jump ticket plus $8 for each night jumper. Lights are provided. Please do not manifest unless you are committed.
• We require a minimum of 15 paid slots manifested by 3 PM to fly. –Direct any questions to an S&TA.

Let’s show off your formation skydiving skills! This 3-way formation skydiving event is open to jumpers from any drop zone with 100 jumps or less. Each team will have one mentor/coach and two Transitions participants, and each round will be filmed by an experienced videographer for scoring. Start learning the details of flying ever more efficiently and accurately in this fun competition!

As always, the team captain/coach leads and coaches the group for FREE!

This will be our first MULTI-LOCATION meet across all Spaceland dropzones! You’ll be competing not just against locals, but also against Spacelanders at our other locations. After competition completes, we will announce winners for each location AND an overall winner. Stay tuned for more details!

Night Jumps 20.10. 2018

Night jumps are open to any skydiver with a B License or higher. The USPA’s General Recommendations for night jumps are in the SIM Section 6-4.

Special Equipment:

•  A light visible for 3 statute miles
• Lighted altimeter
• Flashlight to check canopy
• Clear goggles

A limited number of lights and glow sticks will be available to purchase from Manifest but it is recommended that you bring your own.

Slots are $30/each and we need 8 slots to make the plane fly.

You *must* make at least 1 jump on the DZ during the day to jump at night.

The first Get CRW’d boogie hosted by Texas CRW’d and Skydive San Marcos!

Skydive San Marcos has a Grand Caravan to shuttle us up to our playground. For lodging at the DZ there are RV slots, tent camping space, and an affordable bunk room to stay in.

16 Way RW Mutli-Plane Formation Camp w/ Louis French 6.10 – 8.10
Come join Mr. Louis French for a big way, multi-plane formation camp right here at Skydive Orange!

Jumps will be conducted from skyvan (lead plane) and otter (trail). You will learn to float and dive from both aircraft and will rotate positions/aircraft throughout the weekend.

Lift tickets will be $32 for formation loads/ $36 for high altitude/oxygen loads.

Any participants must have at least 150 jumps. All jumps will be videoed, debriefed and shared with all participants at the end of the camp.

There is only 15 slots available, so register quickly as this camp will fill up super fast.
