We separate the groups based on number of participants and skill level to be sure the groups fly safely.
Every level is welcome, so long as you meet the qualifications below.
Zemi will be leading you on exciting jumps, focusing on improving your skills and having a blast doing it.

REGISTRATION: 15 € per person per day.
QUALIFICATIONS: 200 jump minimum and group tracking experience.
If you have less than 200 jumps and wish to improve, we have 1-on-1 coaching available.

What is it?
One week of intense freefly coaching and load organising with Matty Mitchell, Zemi and more.

During this week, you can book Zemi for coaching 1 on 1, join a group he’s load organising, or book him for the full day for yourself, or split the cost amongst friends.

World medal winning FS and CP champion Pete Allum will be teaching Flight 201 & 202 Canopy Courses at Skydive Empuriabrava on the 20th & 21st of October 2018.

Module 200 provides a safe environment for skydivers wanting to progress their canopy skills to the next level in the area of high performance landings.

**REQUIREMENT TO TAKE FLIGHT 201: Minimum of 200 jumps**
We also highly recommend to have completed & attended Flight 101 and 102.

**REQUIREMENT OT TAKE FLIGHT 202: Minimum of 200 jumps

AFF Week 4.11 – 10.11, 11.11 – 17.11, 18.11 – 24.11, 25.11 – 1.12

Jumping begins on Day 2 with an introductory AFF-Tandem jump which is the perfect way to orientate yourself from the air and to better understand the landing pattern and procedures here at Skydive Algarve.
Then your skydiving experience continues with AFF Level 1.
Accompanied by, but not attached to, two expert instructors you will carry out a series of freefall exercises you have been taught, then open, fly and land the parachute yourself.
Progressing through the levels you will perform a qualifying dive on Level 7 and a low altitude exit from 5,000ft on Level 8.

There is plenty of local accommodation, many with Skydiver rates and reasonable car hire rates to get you to and from Faro Airport (only 40 minutes away from the DZ).

If you have just completed your AFF course and consolidation jumps and are looking to gain your USPA A-licence or BPA B-licence then this course is for you!

Whats included:

10 FS coached skydives
We will teach you all of the basic in air skills needed to be safe in sky which makes skydiving with others much more fun! Included within this course you will do 8x 1-on-1 coached jumps 1x 3way coached jump and 1x 4way coached jump. This is the minimum requirement for the BPA Formation Skydiving Grade One (FS1) and also answers all the coaching requirements towards the USPA A-Licence.
**If you have already achieved your FS1 then we can offer you 11x Free Fly Coached jumps instead.

1 Day Canopy Piloting Course
5x Hop and Pop jumps teaching all the skills and more required to gain your licence with an approved The Canopy School canopy piloting coach

Packing Course

Our Active Piloting canopy course teaches you to be a pilot, not a passenger.

Experience every control input your canopy has to offer, and learn to fly where you want to go in a range of wind conditions.

Try out precision turns and start playing with front risers up high to fully understand the speed your wing is capable of.

Gain the tools to deal with difficult situations. We’ll even have you trying out some crosswind landings!

Learn how to use your body position to control the canopy and keep you safer at the same time. Improve your flying more than you thought possible.

You will leave a more capable and much more assertive canopy pilot. Fly with newfound confidence.

NSPC is hosting an Beginner FreeFly Camp on 3/4 November 2018.

The camp has been targeted for those jumpers who love to FreeFly, want to learn/improve or just keen to advance their FreeFly skills.
In order to attend this camp, you need to have a solid experience of flying in a 4 way either on your belly or Free-flying. Safety and awareness is fundamental for all participants.

PREREQUISITES: C licence and above, participants need to have Audible Alti, good tracking experience & their Reserve in date.

In order to jump you must:

• Have a B, C, or D license
• Make a jump THAT DAY with the SAME RIG you will be using for night jumps
• Attend a safety meeting and drill right before the night jumps… This means do not go anywhere after day jumps and then come back expecting to jump
• Have lights or rent them from Manifest

Mission:
To train our flying skills in preparation for the Upright World Record 100 Way Attempts at Skydive Chicago taking place July, 2019.

Who can participate:
-Must be able to fly head down as well as head up.
-Must be able to safely control your level and proximity to a large formation in an upright orientation.

-If you are flying in a manner unsafe for bigways, or not getting to your quadrant, you can be cut from this event and will not receive a refund.

Event Schedule:
-14 jumps total, 5 jumps on Friday, 5 jumps on Saturday and 4 jumps on Sunday.
-Jump schedule may be adjusted if need be due to weather or other logistics.
-Start time will be Friday morning, exact time will be determined as the event date gets closer.

Event Costs:
$630 includes 14 jumps from 13,000 – 16,000 feet AGL and registration fees.

Can you believe it, it’s been 60 years since the first skydive happened at Skylark Airport? Our name has gone through some changes but in the end, we call Skydive Elsinore home.

Home is where we celebrated mile-stones and share in each others joys.

This November 10, 2018, we want to celebrate the joys, and what better way than to bring family together. Family from all generations, and from all corners of the county. We here at Skydive Elsinore want to celebrate you, and what you brought to our life’s and history of making Skydive Elsinore what it is today.

To move forward on this event, we invite you to not only attend our celebration, we ask you to be a part of it by providing memories via stories, pictures, or treasured items, like logbooks, patches, videos and skydiving equipment.

Night Jumps 17.11
THIS IS AN “EXPERIENCED SKYDIVERS ONLY” EVENT

You wanted night jumps at Skydive Perris ?Well here it is!
1st time (beer!) or just want to do it again, this is the event that you don’t want to miss!
$35 dollars per jump, free night briefing (you need 2 jumps to get your D license qualification). Note: “B” license is required.

NIGHT JUMPS RECOMMENDATIONS
Clear goggles or visor, (non-tinted)
Light colored jumpsuit
Cell phones, (for off DZ landings)
Small flashlight, (to check canopy)
Lighted altimeter, (or small chem light to illuminate it)
Whistle to warn other jumpers under canopy, or to aid rescuers in locating lost or injured jumpers.
If you have been jumping during the day, it is advisable to turn off your AAD and turn it on just prior to the night jumps. AAD’s may turn off automatically if they’ve reached the end of their cycle.
Turn off AAD’s after you are done with night jumps to avoid the chance of having your AAD turn off while jumping the next day. (Cypres and Vigil AAD’s automatically shut off after 14 hours)

NIGHT JUMP REQUIREMENTS
Strobe light visible for three statute miles
Chem lights, 4” or 6”, red & green, (2-3 of ea.)
Immediately check in with manifest after jump prior to packing
Perris Organizers will have strobe light and glow sticks –

This will be the next camp in the ongoing series of FurtheranZe Formation Skydiving Skills camps. There are still slots left. You can reserve a slot at this camp up until noon of the Thursday prior by following this link:https://bookings.burblesoft.com/index/53/22.

Prerequisites to attend a camp are 200 freefall jumps, 100 of which are formation skydives.

FurtheranZe camps are an excellent way to meet other skydivers who are interested in achieving more during their skydives.

They require less commitment than a traditional skydiving team, but may help you meet people you could form a team with.

FurtheranZe camps are NOT a substitute for basic flight coaching. They are a way to further develop your formation skydiving skills in a structured environment.

TEAM GB Canopy Piloting Team Member, Maxine Tate will be teaching Flight – 1 101 & 102 canopy courses at Skydive Deland on the 10th & 11th of November.

Module 100 provides the cornerstone for safety & survival skills under canopy. Throughout this module you will learn the essential skills required for consistently accurate landings, various control inputs, how to deal with emergency situations and effectively managing air traffic.

Flight 101 & 102 courses satisfy the requirements for USPA’s Canopy Piloting Proficiency Card for your B license and go way above and beyond them.

It’s baaaack! SPC’s 7th Annual Veterans Day Event for experienced jumpers…FALLFEST 2018!
The 4-day lineup includes turbine aircraft (1 large-door aircraft, 1 super fast King Air and a 206 Helicopter) and LOs for head down, head up, angle, belly, wingsuit, and XRW.

Saturday night will feature our world-famous SPC talent show! Ok maybe it’s not actually world famous, but it’s a big deal around these parts.
Dance/theme party afterwards! Food truck on site. Camping (tent and RV, but no hookups) or indoor AC packing area that also transforms into sleeping area with couches or bring your air mattress.

Alter Ego Canopy Course 17.11 – 18.11
The Alter Ego Project is Team Alter Ego’s canopy school. The term alter ego refers to another side of someone, just like when you leave your normal live behind and immerse yourself in the world of skydiving at the dropzone. Our goal is to embrace that aspect of our sport and teach everyone that has the desire to learn how to become a better and safer skydiver. The Alter Ego Project will make you a part of the team. Come join the Project and discover your true Alter Ego!

General info:

Courses all start at 8am at the specified DZ where you will meet with your instructor. After introductions, we will discuss experience and goals of each individual to make sure you are getting what you need out of the course. The course will then have a ground school in the classroom followed by the jumps.

Pricing:

All Courses are $150 per person and are one day courses. Jump tickets are not included in the price. Weather permitting, each course is at least 5 jumps, however, we will continue jumping until sunset if desired. One on one coaching is available for any course for a price of $350 plus the cost of jumps. 2 on one coaching is $175 per person.

Wingsuit course with Chase Mccook 30.11 – 2.12
This is a camp for beginner/intermediate wingsuit pilots with intentions on building skills in basic formation and dynamic flying.
Getting multiple wingsuit groups in the plane and proper exit procedures off jump run to ensure safe flights for both groups.

Also plan on building larger formations with all pilots and working with the more experienced flyers with backflying and moving about the formations during the flight.
The main goal of the camp is to have everyone leave the weekend feeling like they improved on some aspect in their wingsuit piloting skills and to also feel more safe and be able to plan and execute fun and safe wingsuit flock formations.

The camp is set for Thanksgiving weekend if there is enough interest and a better weekend in November would work I can be flexible, please leave feedback in the discussion, I’m excited to put this event together and hope to see positive feedback from everyone interested.

Spaceland Transitions: All About Canopies, All Weekend! 3.11 – 4.11

Are you ready for the Spaceland Transitions event that’s focused on canopies rather than freefall? I hope so, because it’s going to be AWESOME! As always, this event is free and focused for skydivers with 100 jumps or less. Jumpers visiting from other drop zones are more than welcome. Check out the major features:

1) FREE CANOPY COACHING: The Ratings Center is offering short canopy control seminars to kick off each weekend morning as well as free, personalized, video-assisted instruction for as many new jumpers as he can throughout the day. These awesome coaches will also provide seminars on various canopy topics during any weather holds, so plan to be here regardless of the forecast, because I guarantee you will learn a ton whether you’re jumping or not.

2) SPORT ACCURACY COMPETITION: Let’s test out these new canopy skills in an informal sport accuracy competition across all Spaceland locations! More details to follow!

Sport Accuracy Competition 3.11 – 5.11
Get ready to test out your landing accuracy skills in Spaceland’s fun Sport Accuracy meet! This event is for jumpers of all experience levels across ALL Spaceland drop zones, and it comes with free canopy coaching! The Ratings Center, who holds all of our canopy courses, is graciously donating their time at the target to video EVERY competitor’s landing for coaching and debriefing. Thank you, TRC!

We plan to start the competition Saturday at around 2 pm (giving you some time for practice jumps!). We’ll divide the competitors into three classes as follows:

* Novice: 100 jumps or less before the competition starts
* Intermediate: 101-350 jumps
* Advanced: 351+ jumps

There is NO ENTRY FEE for this meet! Jumps will be done from roughly 5,500 feet and they will be $25 each instead of the regular hop and pop rate (not including gear rental) because of the extra time the plane will spend flying multiple hop and pop passes.

PRIZES:
* Overall winner across all locations: 1 DAY OF FREE JUMPS at the location of your choice! (gear rental/specialty jumps not included).
