Annual 4 Way competition, Primary days will be the Saturday and Sunday with an alternate date of the 7th May for bad weather.
In recent years we have managed 14 teams, you will need just an A licence to take part.
There will be a party in the evening (fancy dress) where we review all the jumps that have taken place.
Prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd place teams.
What is 4-way Formation Skydiving?
You have a team of 5 people (4 x formation skydivers, 1 x team videographer who jumps with us), compete over 4 rounds of competition.
There are 16 (rookie) unique formations that are drawn randomly prior to the competition Each round is judged based on the maximum number of formations that can be completed in 35ish seconds from leaving the aircraft.
The team with the highest combined average score over the 4 rounds of competition win the competition. The table of participants is like many other sports.
The team with the highest number of completed formations over 4 rounds win, followed by the second highest, third, and so on.
Scrambles was invented to help skydivers from all levels to progress in formation skydiving. All you require is A license and some FS coaching. Also another term used is Planned carnage.
The teams will be announced The Friday evening live on FB…. My head mind is going crazy with ideas.

If you are looking for a challenge and thinking of taking up the sport of skydiving, then the Accelerated FreeFall (AFF) Course is designed for you.
After a full day of theoretical and practical training, you will be ready to make your first skydive. Together with two highly experienced instructors (combined jumps totalling more than 1000 skydives!) you will climb out and exit the aircraft. Your instructors will be there with you in free fall ensuring you open your own parachute and it is deployed safely. You will steer your own parachute, communicating with an instructor on the ground until you are guided in safely to landing.
Your Stage 1 jump is the first step towards becoming an experienced skydiver – the AFF course consists of nine stages in total. AFF students progress at their own rate, and your NSPC instructors will encourage you and develop your flying skills every step of the way.

Bridge The Gap 2018 18.05 – 20.05
Get ready! Bridge the Gap is all about learning a ton, making new friends, and bridging the gap: between you and your gear, you and your coaches, and Formation Skydiving and Freefly… we want to help you get to where you want to go in the sky!
Bridge the Gap is known as THE event for newbies! if you’re new at formation Skydiving or Freeflying come join us and get some quality learning on in the SoCal sunshine!
If you’ve never been to Bridge the Gap, you can expect to learn a ton, both on the ground and in the sky.
The event is heavily focused on ground prep and thorough debriefs, along with some incredible seminars from some of Skydive Elsinore’s brilliant minds in a variety of disciplines.
Groups will be divided into Formation Skydiving, or Freefly, then matched with coaches in those disciplines.
When you register, please specify which group you’ll be flying with. To make this event as safe as possible for all our participants and coaches, and to maximize learning and the potential for everyone to experience their own evolution as a skydiver, we have the following requirements:
FORMATION SKYDIVING: You must have at least an A-License.
FREEFLY: You must be able to safely sit fly with at least two other people.
If you’re looking for gear, or if you have questions about what you already have, we always have a great (and growing) list of vendors who will be on site. Don’t be shy! Your group leader will take some time to introduce you to the vendors. They’ll have demos available, friendly smiles, and plenty of knowledge to share!
Registration is easy, contact manifest at 951-245-9939 or email skydive@skydiveelsinore.com

P3 Big Way Camp 3.05 – 6.05. 2018
Few things in skydiving are more fun than successfully building large freefall formations with friends from around the world.
But too often we don’t get the chance to learn to do it right in a safe, challenging, low pressure environment.
The P3 Big Way Camp is that chance. If you have 100 jumps and can consistently dock on a 4-way we can teach you what you need to learn next.
During the big way camp you’ll have the chance to fly many different slots, jump from right and left trail airplanes, track off in teams and fly your canopy with larger groups.
The camps are also perfect for the experienced big way enthusiast to hone their skills. We consistently have people from 100 to 10,000 jumps join us for these great 4 days of skydiving.
Minimum Experience Required: 100 jumps and the ability to consistently dock 5th or later.
Price: $895 USD for 18 jumps (subject to a potential fuel surcharge*).

This is the one and only official Carolinafest event page! It is time again to request your time off for CarolinaFest 2018.
We hope you will join us for our 10th Carolinafest! We have a feeling you can help us celebrate this important anniversary the right way.
Last year, we SOLD OUT as we cap registration at 400 participants. We flew 340 loads and made over 7,000 jumps in 6 days.
We hope to fly even more this year. Our aircraft fleet is hard to beat, and this year, we will have 3 Otters, 1 King Air, and a super-fast Skyvan!!
Pre-registration will end on Tuesday, May 8th. Remember, you MUST pre-register to receive a T-shirt and boogie bag. As a matter of fact, if you intend on attending the event, you should probably pre-register because it is pretty likely we will sell out before the event. If we sell out and all 400 slots are occupied, we will NOT be allowing walk-ins. Don’t slip up and miss out on attending the boogie all your friends will be talking about!

SFS Essentials/Advanced Canopy Courses at CPI 12.05. 2018
Essential Skills Course Saturday 5/12/18
Advanced Course Sunday 5/13/18
Superior Flight Solutions proven teaching techniques and canopy drills allow jumpers to completely understand exactly how their parachutes perform in every jumpable situation and condition.
The drills are designed to educate jumpers on safe canopy flight and teach them techniques that will give them the most valuable tool of all….CONFIDENCE!
Confidence in their gear, in themselves and their abilities to fly their canopies safely. The intent is to make jumpers safer canopy pilots by making them smarter canopy pilots.
No matter what drills are being conducted, the desired end result is having the jumpers land exactly where they want and as soft as possible.
You will be doing jumps and drills based off of your abilities, your progress and your desired goals. Each jump you do will be videoed and meticulously debriefed.
The Essential Skills Course meets the requirements of the B license application as well as completes the canopy proficiency card required by USPA.
You do not need to be an A licensed skydiver to attend the course, however you must be cleared to self supervise and have completed your hop and pops.
If you have your B license but have never attended a formal canopy course, this course is also for you. You will be doing
more advanced drills and your progression will not be slowed.
This class is conducted rain or shine and starts every day at 8 am unless otherwise posted.

Whether you are a new jumper or an expert, this canopy flight skills and safety course promises to have something for you.
You can: get signed off for your B license canopy course requirement, work on life-saving maneuvers, learn about canopy design, get softer more accurate landings and become a better, safer skydiver.
This course covers all aspects of canopy flight safety, as well as addressing the mental and emotional aspects of
flight. This course will profoundly enhance your skill, safety, and enjoyment.
The course cost is $200 plus the instructor’s travel fees split between all participants.
Also, plan to make 2-4 skydives per day, weather permitting. Please call the office at 719-784-1166 to register for the class. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required.

FurtheranZe FS camp 12.05 – 13.05. 2018
This will be the next camp in the ongoing series of FurtheranZe Formation Skydiving Skills camps.
There are still slots left. You can reserve a slot at this camp up until noon of the Thursday prior by following this link: https://bookings.burblesoft.com/index/53/22.
Once there, select the date(s) of your desired Camp(s) by clicking on them on the calendar, and follow the rest of the instructions to pay your registration.
Prerequisites to attend a camp are 200 freefall jumps, 100 of which are formation skydives.
Waivers to these prerequisites will be considered on a case-by-case-basis for very-well qualified applicants who have accumulated substantial coached flight time in a suitable wind tunnel, but are short of the jump totals required. Cost will be $40 registration fee for each day, six Skydive City jump tickets, and your share of your videographer’s service charges.
FurtheranZe camps are an excellent way to meet other skydivers who are interested in achieving more during their skydives.
They require less commitment than a traditional skydiving team, but may help you meet people you could form a team with.
FurtheranZe camps are NOT a substitute for basic flight coaching. They are a way to further develop your formation skydiving skills in a structured environment.
Teams can also join a FurtheranZe camp as a way to warm up for FSL Meets, or to receive coaching tailored to your team’s desires.
Cost will only be $40 registration fee per person for each day, and you can make as many jumps as you desire/can afford using your own videographer.
Skydive DeLand
PDFT Canopy Flocking Skills Camp at Skydive Deland 5.05 – 6.05. 2018
If you have ever wanted to fly like the PD Factory Team, now’s your chance, not only to fly like them, but to fly with them.
Ian Bobo & Shannon Pilcher, co-founders of the PD Factory Team and Flight-1, have been teaching no-contact canopy-relative-work skills to civilians and military personnel for over 15 years.
Whether you’ve got mad skills and have been jones’n for the opportunity to fly with similarly-skilled pilots, or you get nervous when flying near other canopies and simply wish you had the confidence to enjoy it rather than dread it, then this camp is for you!
Participants will fly in small groups led by either Bobo or Pilcher. You will receive in-depth briefings and training on topics such as control familiarization, safety and survival, proximity flying, finesse flying, team flying and dynamic flying. By the end of the two days, you will not only feel comfortable near other canopies, you’ll be eager to do more.
We will create groupings based on wing loading. Some people may be asked to wear weight belts. Please be aware, this camp is not focused on landings, in other words, Bobo and Pilcher will not be filming landings nor providing detailed feedback in that regard. The expectation is that anyone can add a few pounds and still land comfortably and safely.
Camp Format:

IT IS MANDATORY TO ATTEND BOTH DAYS!

Coaches will rotate among groups

You should have good basic belly flying skills and a minimum of 50 jumps.
Course will provide outside video and video de-briefing after every jump. We will aim for four or five jumps a day.

Cinco de Mayo/PAC is Back Party! 5.05. 2018
What are we celebrating?
-The Pac returns to East Troy, which happens to be close to Cinco de Mayo this year. This is a great reason to come to the club, make a ton of jumps, and stick around all night to eat, drink, and laugh! The videos from the first weekend of the PAC are typically great as well!
When are we celebrating?
-On Cinco de Mayo…DUH! Festivities start around sunset on 5/5
What is happening with this party on May 5th?
– Food. Beer. Tequila. A nacho-bar. Possibly even fun. Also, we can all get together and tell lies about what we did over the winter and have a good time partying after we jump all day. Themed dress is encouraged but not required.
What do other people need to bring?
-I would love if I can get some chips and dips or other starters, sweets, food, and of course beers. Be creative and let’s have a good time!
What is Cinco de Mayo actually recognizing?
-The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican Army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.
Please RSVP if you are attending so there can be an accurate head-count for food, beer, and shenanigans. The party happens rain or shine! Hit James or Andy up with questions, I can’t wait to kick off the PAC season with a bang.
