Description Skydive Oslo (Fallskjermklubb), Østre Æra

Østre Æra Airport, the National Center for Parachuting, is owned by the Norwegian Air Sports Association, Parachute Division, FNLF.

The Oslo Parachute Club has rented and operated the center for FNLF since 1991.

Skydiving is organized at the national center every day from the beginning of May to the end of August.

Landing area is flat and grassy.

Most of the Hangar’s 910 m2 is used for parachuting equipment. In addition, there are office space for the Norwegian Air Sports Association and Oslo Parachute Club, as well as store rooms, kiosks and warehouses. In winter it will be used for storage of caravans and small aircraft. The accommodation building of 260m2 above 1 floor has 44 beds in 11 rooms. Each room contains 4 beds and wardrobes. The building has fire alarm systems that are connected to the facility in the education building.

 The teaching building has 512 m2 of ground. There is a sanitary facility, sauna, technical room, laundry room, kitchen and fireplace. There is also a large room for education here. There is a fire alarm system installed. Camping area The area in the south between flight strips and access roads is used for caravans. Today there are 150 caravans placed around 4 driveways. There are power outlets for 96 cars and water extraction in the camping area.
