The parachute sports club Soest-Bad Sassendorf e.V. or shorter “Skydive Soest” was founded in 1994 and  now has over 100 active members. With his “Skydive Salamanca” jumping school, Skydive Soest has grown to one of the biggest “weekend dropzones” in Germany. »

Jumps are usually take place only during weekends, apart from selected jumping weeks.

The enormously huge landing area makes our drop zone a safe and ideal place for the formation of parachute jumpers.

Our parachute instructors are very experienced, with several thousands jumps, which have already accompanied many skydivers with their first steps or better flights.

Our dropzone has a very familiar, friendly atmosphere. Many jumpers stay the whole weekend and stay in their caravans, camper vans and tents in our camping area.

We have sanitary facilities and showers.

A weekend at the jumping area is always a bit of a holiday from everyday life. W-LAN with free Internet access guarantees that no one loses contact with the outside world.

Since 1999 we have been transporting skydivers with a Dornier 28 turbine. The »DO28« brings up to 15 jumpers in 12 minutes to at least 4,000 meters jump height. For licensed parachute jumpers, we also have two freely accessible video spaces, a very generous packing area, regular freefly and RW-LOs and seminars, extensive “chill-areas”, packer, rigging workshop.
